My usual style, meaning b&w, pencil. OC's and unknown characters are fine if I'm given reference, I won't go scouting the internet for refs myself.
I will draw scenes of fanfics if the fics are relatively short. ie not 10+ chapter thingies of series/charas I've never heard of.

The Hetalia panel discussion at Tampere Kuplii made me want to shoot myself in the eye with a bazooka.

Goddamnit, I was really looking forward to it. I wanted discussion, not a bunch of school girls giggling and shuffling papers.

I've grown slightly bored of Naruto lately. It seems that the only things that still interest me in the fandom are the people and AU stuff. It might be the direction the manga has taken. I've started to miss my old fandoms, HP, Buffy and Robin Hobb, now that I look back, I cannot recall any pairing wars or too much badfic. There probably was, but since it was 2003 when I first got into fandom, the scale of things was a lot smaller and more intimate. Regardless, it seems that there was a lot less AU and a lot more Actual Discussion going on in those fandoms, where as it's really hard to find any in the Naruto fandom. Even narutoforums is mostly groups of people flaming each others' fanclubs, and 99,9% of fanfic pays no attention to canon. I love AU, I write it myself and I do enjoy reading it. But it just amazes me how similar the fics are, and the fandom's lack of interest in the canon universe.


tl;dr: I don't feel like drawing or writing Naruto stuff right now. Don't know if this will change any time soon. Sorry about that, feel free to de-watch.

People suddenly started faving my old pics and scraps and I panicked and deleted shitload of pictures. Sorry about that^^'

It's just that although we all know that progress and constant improvement is the most important thing, for me, regarding my own art, it's really all about the results and people paying attention to embarrassing old pictures makes me cringe. Plus, the way dA is these days, whenever I go look at my own gallery, I see the ugly old shit first. I don't like seeing them at all, so they must go away.
